Puri is the most popular seaside town of Eastern India.  It is best known for the Jagannath Temple dating back to 12th century, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Although this place observes a good climate all through the year, the best time to visit is the pre-winter and winter months of October to February when the weather is comfortably cool and the sea breeze is enjoyable.
