Later head to Manavari Temple which is nestled approximately 6 km from Chilaw. This temple is popular for its Lingam which was installed by Lord Rama. After breakfast, proceed to Trincomalee which is a 2-hour drive from Dambulla. Later continue your journey to Sri Shankari Devi Shakthi Peedam which is adjacent to Trincomalee’s popular Koneswaram Temple. Have your breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy which is a 4-hour drive from Trincomalee. Enroute visit Dambulla Cave Temple which is a huge isolated rock mass which is 500 feet high. The temple showcases the rich culture of Buddhism and is a must visit destination for your Sri Lanka Tour. By afternoon arrive at Kandy and visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which is yet another popular attraction to see in Kandy. After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya which is your next stop on this Sri Lankan Tour. Enroute visit Ramboda Hanumanji Temple, Tea Plantation and Ramboda Falls. Later head to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden which is considered to be the largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka. Then proceed to Ella which is approximately 2 hours from Nuwara Eliya. On arrival, get ready to explore some of the fascinating places like Ravana Falls, Ravana Caves and Divurumpola. The Ravana Ella Fall and Cave are situated close to Wellawaya main road and is a must visit destination on your Sri Lanka Tour. The beautiful waterfall measures about 25 metres and as the legend goes, it is believed that Sita bathed in that pool. The Ravana Ella cave is believed to be a network of tunnels that connects to the Dova temple and the airports, dairy farms and palaces of King Ravana. Proceed to visit Divurumpola where Sita underwent the fire ordeal so as to prove her chastity. This famous place is said to have witnessed this famous episode and today the temple is regarded as a suitable place for oaths that can be helpful in setting calmness between the parties. After the city tour, return back to Nuwara Eliya for dinner and overnight stay.
Munch in your breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Colombo which is a 6-hour drive from Nuwara Eliya. Enroute head to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage which is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. This well known orphanage was started in 1975 that houses abandoned and wounded elephants. These gigantic creatures have been brought from various parts and have been kept here for their safety. You can feed and bathe them and watch the, from a closer view. On arrival at Colombo, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later head to visit the famous Panchamuga Anjaneyer Temple in Colombo. This Hanuman temple is one of the famous temples that is a must visit during your tour. It is the only temple on the island that is dedicated to Lord Hanuman in his Panchamuga form which means the five faces. It is also said that it is the only temple in the world that have a chariot for Anjaneyar. The chariot festival that is held at the end of December or in the beginning of January is said to be famous festival in Sri Lanka. Before entering the temple, visitors are advised to wash their hands and feet and not to cross hands in the temple. After the temple tour, return back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Colombo.

Mi viaje salió realmente muy bien. La gestión y organización del viaje fueron absolutamente perfectas. Los hoteles fueron excelentes, el itinerario estuvo bien planificado y el equipo mantuvo un contacto regular conmigo durante todo el viaje, lo que me dio mucha tranquilidad. En general, todo salió muy bien. Lo único que me pareció insuficiente fue el tiempo asignado en Gulmarg. Solo tuve medio día en Gulmarg, lo cual no fue suficiente para disfrutar plenamente del destino. Lo mejor del viaje fue, sin duda, el conductor, Adil. Pasas mucho tiempo con tu conductor y contar con un buen conductor marca una gran diferencia. Adil hizo todo lo posible para adaptarse a mis necesidades y ayudarme en todo lo que fuera posible. Aportó un toque personal a cada aspecto del viaje. Fue muy profesional y estuvo siempre dispuesto a orientarme y ayudarme cuando fue necesario. En general, fue un viaje fantástico y sin duda recomendaría esta experiencia a mis amigos y familiares. Descubrimiento ¡Una experiencia excelente! Viajamos entre temporadas, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de los paisajes de flores, manzanas y nieve, pero pudimos centrarnos en el aspecto cultural del viaje. El paisaje rural es precioso, al igual que las ciudades, las mezquitas y, sobre todo, su gente. Nuestro guía y conductor, Faisel y Hussein (disculpen si he escrito mal sus nombres), fueron ideales para esta experiencia. Ambos demostraron una gran pasión y conocimiento por su país, su cultura y su fe. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar pueblos, ciudades, montañas, parques y mezquitas, y en muchos lugares sentimos que éramos los únicos viajeros. ¡Una gran ventaja de viajar en esta época del año! Tour cultural de dos semanas por Rajastán El equipo pudo adaptarse perfectamente a nuestro calendario, que incluía dos días libres en medio del viaje para asistir a una boda.
