On arrival at Paro, meet our representative who will guide and transfer you to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later in the evening, head to Taschichoe Dzong which is known to be the Fortress of Glorious Religion. Return back after exploring and overnight stay at Thimphu.
Today, after breakfast you will begin you sightseeing tour with places like King’s Memorial Chorten which was built in the memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace. This chorten or stupa is a huge white structure that is crowned with a golden spire. Located close to the city of Thimphu, this stupa is one of the most iconic monuments and garnered tourists from all walks of life. Next you will head to Buddha Point where you will get to see a statue of Budhha that is 169 feet tall. Next you will head to Sangaygang (BBS Tower) that was built in the 12th century and is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) operates the country's radio and television network and has a hilltop-built telecommunications tower. It is situated at 2685 m above sea level and provides views of the whole Thimphu valley. During the evening, when the sun sets, the place is best enjoyed and is sure to make your tour worthwhile. Proceed to Changangkha Lhakhang which is an ancient temple located about 1 km from Thimpu city center. The temple was built on a site chosen by the Drukpa Lineage founder in Bhutan in the 12th century. The temple has massive wheels of prayer along with incredibly huge texts from Tibet and very fine interior murals. Later, head to National handicrafts shop where you can buy interesting handicrafts that takes place in the weekend market. In the evening take a leisure walk from Clock tower square and interact with local people. Return back after your city tour and overnight stay
Today, you will drive to low lands of Punakha Valley through Dochula Pass and make a stopover at Hongtsho Village. Make sure to stop at the immigration checkpoint to stamp in your permit. Right next to the checkpoint, you will be able to find small local stalls selling apples for sale. Drive through the first mountain pass in the western region of Bhutan. On top of the pass, where the ridges are covered in colorful prayer flags, you can find the 108 Druk Wangyal chortens. You could take three rounds of prayers, take some of the best shots of photography. Visit the Botanical Park of Lampari on the way. If the weather is clear you'll be able to see the highest peaks to the north, Gangar Punsum is the highest unclimbed mountain in the country. You can take a photo shot near the natural lake if you're lucky you could see red pandas and different species of birds. Go down through the village of Thinleygang to Punakha and make a left turn where you will reach Lobesa and enter the valley of Punakha. Have lunch on the way at Lobesa and take a hike to Chimi Lhakhang which is an old monastery that is dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley and is known for its outrageous behavior. Built in 1499 by Ngawng Chogyal, the 14th Drukpa Hierarch, this temple is a popular tourist attraction in Bhutan. After crossing the paddy field, you will come across Lobesa village which is located in the valley, surrounded by paddy fields on the way to the "Chimi Lhakhang" an important Buddhist shrine in Punakha. Interact with the locals and visit some village houses to learn about their lifestyle and then head towards Chimi Lhakhang and drive to Punakha. Overnight stay at the hotel in Punakha.
Enjoy delicious breakfast and drive to Gangtey where you will be visiting the popular Gangtey Monastery that is associated with the Nyingmapa school of Buddhism. This monastery is situated in the Wandue Phodrang Dzhongkhag in Central Bhutan. Established in 1613 by Peling Gyalse Rinpoche, the monastery has become popular over the years. The monastery is a five-temple complex surrounding a central main tower. Built in Tibetan-style architecture, the monastery's main hall is made entirely of wood with its eight central wooden pillars considered to be the largest in Bhutan. After the city tour, drive back to Punakha for overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, head to Paro which is your next stop on this Bhutan tour package. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight at Paro.
Head to Chele la-la pass and enroute visit Kila Gompa. Chele pass is one of the highest motorable passes in the country and attracts tourists from all over the world. The chele la ridge offers garden of Himalayan flowers, plants and species. As for the Buddhists, this pass is known to be a sacred place that is adorned with prayer flags. Later in the evening drive back to Paro. Hike to Tiger’s Nest Paro is known to be a valley of religion and myth and there you can visit Taktshang which is also called Tiger’s Nest. This popular landmark stands on a granite cliff and is about 1000m above the valley. The Taktsang monastery is known to be a national treasure of Bhutan. Take a short hike to Taktsang and you will reach a cafeteria from where you can enjoy a picturesque view of the monastery. Later walk down back to road and reach your hotel for lunch. Then take a walk in Paro Bazar for shopping and overnight stay at Paro.

Mi viaje salió realmente muy bien. La gestión y organización del viaje fueron absolutamente perfectas. Los hoteles fueron excelentes, el itinerario estuvo bien planificado y el equipo mantuvo un contacto regular conmigo durante todo el viaje, lo que me dio mucha tranquilidad. En general, todo salió muy bien. Lo único que me pareció insuficiente fue el tiempo asignado en Gulmarg. Solo tuve medio día en Gulmarg, lo cual no fue suficiente para disfrutar plenamente del destino. Lo mejor del viaje fue, sin duda, el conductor, Adil. Pasas mucho tiempo con tu conductor y contar con un buen conductor marca una gran diferencia. Adil hizo todo lo posible para adaptarse a mis necesidades y ayudarme en todo lo que fuera posible. Aportó un toque personal a cada aspecto del viaje. Fue muy profesional y estuvo siempre dispuesto a orientarme y ayudarme cuando fue necesario. En general, fue un viaje fantástico y sin duda recomendaría esta experiencia a mis amigos y familiares. Descubrimiento ¡Una experiencia excelente! Viajamos entre temporadas, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de los paisajes de flores, manzanas y nieve, pero pudimos centrarnos en el aspecto cultural del viaje. El paisaje rural es precioso, al igual que las ciudades, las mezquitas y, sobre todo, su gente. Nuestro guía y conductor, Faisel y Hussein (disculpen si he escrito mal sus nombres), fueron ideales para esta experiencia. Ambos demostraron una gran pasión y conocimiento por su país, su cultura y su fe. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar pueblos, ciudades, montañas, parques y mezquitas, y en muchos lugares sentimos que éramos los únicos viajeros. ¡Una gran ventaja de viajar en esta época del año!
