Enticing tour to Sri Lanka is a journey of relaxation where you will get to experience the best of the country. This tour package takes the travelers through some of the fascinating attractions of the region such as Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Minneriya, Sigiriya, Habarana, Matale, Kandy, Nuwaraeliya and various other places where you will get to witness the rich culture and heritage of the country.
Arrive at Bandaranaike International airport where you will be warmly greeted and later transfer to the booked hotel in Negombo. Check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Negombo.
Today after breakfast at the hotel, head to Sri Lankan Flavors for a cookery demonstration and Negombo market visit. The session will begin early and later you will be accompanied t to the Fish, Vegetable and fruit marketplaces where you will get to taste different types of fruits, seafood etc. After the cooking tour, you will be heading for the cooking demo that will go one for at least one hour. Guests will have the opportunity to learn Sri Lankan condiments that are use to prepare delicious food. Learn about the utensils that the local use in their Sri Lankan kitchen. Later after lunch, proceed to Dambulla which is approximately 3-hour’s drive from Negombo. On arrival, check into the hotel and overnight stay at Dambulla.
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and head to Polonnaruwa where you will be exploring the city on a cycle. Polonnaruwa is a World Heritage Site and was once the capital of Sri Lanka from 11th- 13th Century. The city houses splendid and spectacular statues and has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period. After your city tour, head to Minneriya National Park which is a famous safari destination for wildlife enthusiast. Famous for its large population of elephants, this national park has attracted tourists from all over the world. Enjoy 4X4 jeep safari and spot animals like Wild Boar, Sloth Bear, crocodiles, wild elephants, jackals, 25 kinds of reptiles, 160 bird species, and 9 amphibians’ varieties. After the safari tour, return back to Dambulla for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to climb Sigiriya rock fortress which is considered to be a World Heritage Site. It is a 5th century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Proceed to step through the huge Lion Paws that overlooks the symmetrical royal gardens. You will come across ramparts and frescoes that are related to the Gupta style paintings that resemble those in Ajanta Caves. Continue your tour to the well fabricated museum where you will get to know how the citadel floated above citizens with castle. On completion of the city tour, proceed to Habarana which is approximately 30 minutes drive from Sigiriya. Enjoy Habarana Village tour where you can feel how people live in simple harmony with the environment . Visit traditional village and interact with the locals and observe their day to day life pattern, cultural framework etc. This village tour will include Chena cultivations, Bull cart ride, catamaran boat ride and visit to a mud house. Enjoy delicious Sri Lankan lunch with the village folk and make the most of the trip. Later return to Dambulla for dinner and overnight stay.
Munch in your breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Kandy via Matale. Make a visit to Dambulla market in the morning where you will get to see various colourful vegetables and fruits being sold in the market. Later head to Kandy and enroute visit the famous spice garden in Matale. Learn about different spices and the right combination that turns the simplest food into an aromatic and delicious food. See how the spices are made with care and correct knowledge. After the spice tour, head to Kandy. On arrival, head to visit Temple of the sacred tooth relic. It is a Buddhist temple situated in royal complex of the former kingdom of Kandy that houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. This relic has played an important role since ancient times and is a must visit attraction during your tour to Sri Lanka. Today, you will be heading for sightseeing tour of Kandy where you will be visiting some of the well known places like a gem museum, shopping bazaars, Victoria Golf Course etc. In the evening, enjoy the cultural dance show that features numerous dance types of Sri Lanka. Overnight stay at Kandy.
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel and proceed to enjoy cookery demonstration in Kandy. The cuisine of Sri Lanka is known to be the spiciest and hottest cuisine in the world. Add more fun to your tour by knowing how Sri Lankan cuisine is prepared with the help of friendly instructor. Later proceed to Nuwara Eliya which is approximately 3 hours drive from Kandy. While on the way make a detour of tea plantation and tea factory. On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Proceed for afternoon city tour of Nuwara Eliya where you will be exploring the city which is a perfect example of British colonial retreat. Hike through the green grass and red brick walls that showcase the stunning views of a beautiful countryside.
Savour delicious breakfast at the hotel and head to Jetwig Warwick Gardens where you will get the opportunity to understand the lives of tea pluckers with the help of longtime caretaker Meena Amma. Join her to gain knowledge about the tea estate and its pluckers. Walk through the brisk walls and lush plantations and have amazing time learning about the history of tea. Then observe how tea buds are planted and learn about various types of tea grown at numerous altitudes of the verdant hills. After your tea estate tour, head to Ambewela farm or the New Zealand Farm where you can see the largest grasslands of Sri Lanka . This farm rears pure bred Friesian cows and manufactures dairy products like cheese, milk and yoghurt. Return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Wellawaya which is your next stop on this Sri Lanka Tour. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later in the afternoon, head to organic gardening and cookery demonstration at the hotel with an experienced chef.
Wake up early today and walk in the paddy field and observe the surrounding. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Colombo. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. In the evening, take a walk and experience delicious street food from the stalls. Walk through the charming city of Colombo and visit some of the iconic landmarks. Return back to the hotel in Colombo.

Mi viaje salió realmente muy bien. La gestión y organización del viaje fueron absolutamente perfectas. Los hoteles fueron excelentes, el itinerario estuvo bien planificado y el equipo mantuvo un contacto regular conmigo durante todo el viaje, lo que me dio mucha tranquilidad. En general, todo salió muy bien. Lo único que me pareció insuficiente fue el tiempo asignado en Gulmarg. Solo tuve medio día en Gulmarg, lo cual no fue suficiente para disfrutar plenamente del destino. Lo mejor del viaje fue, sin duda, el conductor, Adil. Pasas mucho tiempo con tu conductor y contar con un buen conductor marca una gran diferencia. Adil hizo todo lo posible para adaptarse a mis necesidades y ayudarme en todo lo que fuera posible. Aportó un toque personal a cada aspecto del viaje. Fue muy profesional y estuvo siempre dispuesto a orientarme y ayudarme cuando fue necesario. En general, fue un viaje fantástico y sin duda recomendaría esta experiencia a mis amigos y familiares. Descubrimiento ¡Una experiencia excelente! Viajamos entre temporadas, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de los paisajes de flores, manzanas y nieve, pero pudimos centrarnos en el aspecto cultural del viaje. El paisaje rural es precioso, al igual que las ciudades, las mezquitas y, sobre todo, su gente. Nuestro guía y conductor, Faisel y Hussein (disculpen si he escrito mal sus nombres), fueron ideales para esta experiencia. Ambos demostraron una gran pasión y conocimiento por su país, su cultura y su fe. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar pueblos, ciudades, montañas, parques y mezquitas, y en muchos lugares sentimos que éramos los únicos viajeros. ¡Una gran ventaja de viajar en esta época del año! Tour cultural de dos semanas por Rajastán El equipo pudo adaptarse perfectamente a nuestro calendario, que incluía dos días libres en medio del viaje para asistir a una boda.
